My best friend Martha (the girl in the reindeer antlers back there) invited the class to a Christmas bazar at her local church. That's her dad in the Santa costume.

You should have seen Benny's face when Martha let him keep her old penguin stuffed animal.

During the traditional Thanksgiving feast of seafood pasta and delicious wine, Ben made best friends with Nicolas, also 3, whose mother and aunt worked at the restaurant.

This was a big New Year's party. We danced there from about 11:30 p.m. to about 1:45 a.m.
